The cookies used on OrderMyMenu.com are explained below and based on the International Chamber of Commerce guide for cookie categories.

 

1. Strictly necessary cookies

 

Strictly necessary cookies allow you to use essential features of our site such as enabling you to order takeaway more easily. The essential features of our site require strictly necessary cookies so that we can remember your postcode and what is in your shopping basket whilst you continue to order products from our site and/or navigate to different pages of the site during your browsing session. We are also able to identify you as being logged in to Meal2Go.com and to ensure that you are able to access the appropriate features on our site. If you choose not to accept these cookies, you will be unable to use our site for ordering takeaway, only for browsing.

 


  •  PHPSESSID - The PHPSESSID cookie is native to PHP and enables websites to store serialised state data. On the Action website it is used to establish a user session and to pass state data via a temporary cookie, which is commonly referred to as a session cookie. As the PHPSESSID cookie has no timed expiry, it disappears when the client is closed.

  • M2G_C_AUTH - Information required to authenticate user. Set if "Remember Me" option is selected.

 

 2. Tracking & Performance cookies

 

 Performance cookies collect information about how you use our site, so that we can improve the quality of our site and service. Our performance cookies do not collect any information that could potentially identify you. All information collected is anonymous and is used by us to:

  •  xtc - Used by AddThis in recording user sharing and social activity. AddThis, owned and operated by Clearspring Technologies, is a content sharing platform which gives end users a way to share content across the social web, and provides publishers with in-depth analytics.

  • _atuvc - These cookies, provided by Clearspring Technologies, Inc., are used in conjunction with the AddThis Button to enable you to share our content through email, social networking sites, blogs and more.

  •  _utma - Used to distinguish users and sessions. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utma cookies exists. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to

  • _utmc - Not used in ga.js. Set for interoperability with urchin.js. Historically, this cookie operated in conjunction with the __utmb cookie to determine whether the user was in a new session/visit.

  • __utmv - Used to store visitor-level custom variable data. This cookie is created when a developer uses the _setCustomVar method with a visitor level custom variable. This cookie was also used for the deprecated _setVar method. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

  • __utmz - Stores the traffic source or campaign that explains how the user reached your site. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

 

 3. Functionality cookies

 

 Functionality cookies provide you with improved site functionality by allowing access to additional services or to enhance your future visits to our site. Functionality cookies used on our site provide you with improved site functionality whilst you are browsing for example, giving you access to our online help service with our live chat team if you require help and assistance with your takeaway order.   •  __atuvc - The __atuvc cookie is created and read by our JavaScript on the client side in order to make sure the user sees the updated count if they share a page and return to it before our share count cache is updated. No data from that cookie is sent back to AddThis and removing it when disabling cookies would cause unexpected behavior for users.

  •  vsid - This cookie is used by our live support provider
